The LaPointe & Butler law firm staff can
categorically say that Special Education is our business ! While
we offer a continuum of services, all are either instructive,
preventive, rehabilitative, supportive or consultative regarding a
school district's efforts to provide special education programs
and services, or to meet § 504 or ADA mandates.
We pride ourselves in establishing a working relationship with
our clients that is not restricted to just providing
"traditional" legal advice. Rather, by our taking the
time to learn about special education and the day-to-day problems
in providing it, in providing services we strive to develop the
maximum potential of district staff to prevent or resolve
problems. However, if the problem persists, we represent
districts in complaint or due process hearing procedures,
litigation, or other forms of dispute resolution, consistent with
the law and the child's educational needs.
In short, while our legal services are not free, they are cost
effective, appropriate and very individualized. Please consider
