The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) has issued Questions and Answers on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Evaluations, and Reevaluations (revised June 2010). This document is meant to provide guidance to States, State educational agencies (SEAs), local educational authorities (LEAs), parents and others. This Q&A addresses some of the many requests for clarification the U.S.Department of Education has received and reflects the supplemental Part B regulations which went into effect on December 31, 2008.
